I have five seconds left for a video to render and it's had the spinning color wheel and not responding for the last two hours. What should I do? The video is over 8 hours long and it took 70 hours to reach this point.
Not responding (spinning color wheel) for over 2 hours
Media Encoder Bad Files
I will set up a bunch of videos to encode for archiving purposes. Everything will complete without any errors, but when I go and check the converted clips, some are showing as ZERO BYTES. The queue list shows it completed the process but the new clip doesn't have any data associated with that. What seems to be the issues? Am I converting too many files at once?

Cannot change or logout of connected Vimeo Account
I happen to have two Vimeo accounts i manage. I connected one Vimeo account to AME. But now I want to upload to my other account. But not matter what it keeps asking me to authorise the first account. Never giving me the option to login to the second account. I logged in and out on AME and nothing. I even logged out on Safari and cleared history and nothing. If I try to logout or go to any link on the browser window that pops up on AME it says "error": "The requested page could not be found".
Does anybody have any ideas how i can clear this for i can log in to another account? thank you
"Failed" export in Media Encoder
How's it going everyone.
Had a project to export today and it failed in Premiere so I tried in Media Encoder with no luck.
I tried duplicating my sequence. I rendered the audio. I rendered the In to Out, and it all worked fine but still couldn't export.
When it was in Media Encoder it says "Failed" and usually fails on the "Preparing Audio" part right at the beginning. When it's exporting in Premiere, sometimes it renders the audio but gets stuck at 0% indefinitely and I have to Force Quit the program.
I tried exporting from another project and it worked fine. Even a different sequence from the same one didn't work. So it must be something in this sequence, but I don't know what.
this is the report from media encoder:

AME CC 2014: "Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue."
Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 on MacPro "mid-2012" (MacPro5,1) running OSX 10.9.3 and getting this error when trying to launch Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014:
Adobe Media Encoder Error
Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue.
Have uninstalled, reinstalled. Checked and fixed permissions numerous times. Tried removing all plugins and that didn't fix. Also tried editing the text listings within the .app for OpenGL and CUDA to remove all cards listed - that didn't fix anything either.
At this point it's uninstalled and "hopefully" everything will point to CC (non-2014 version). Adobe Media Encoder CC works fine. Adobe Media Encoder CS6 works fine.
Cannot find any other reports of this issue.
How do I convert AVCHD into MP4?
Ok, so I know all about how you have to import the whole file structure into Premiere Pro so you can use AVCHD directly in Premiere. But how do I convert AVCHD to .MP4? Do I seriously have to import each video into premiere, create seperate sequences, and then export again?
Is there an easy batch way to do it in AME? Or alternatively in Premiere?
CS5 Adobe Media Encoder: Encode failed because the source duration is nil.
I've been running Production Premium on my new Windows 7 64bit, 6GB i7 system for several weeks now and haven't had any issues exporting to the Media Encoder.
I installed the trial version of Dreamweaver without any of the add-on's as I thought they might mess up my licensed installation.
Every attempt to export -> media -> queue get's the following error in AMEEncodingErrorLog.txt

Doing the export directly from PP works without error, but I don't want to wait for each export to complete.
Any ideas other than reinstall PP?

Auto Shutdown After Encoding Complete (Media Encoder 2017)
So how is there not an Auto Shut Down feature for Adobe Media Encoder yet? We're on the 2017 version and still nothing?
I don't want to leave my laptop on all night. Can we please get a Auto Shutdown option so that it forces the computer to shutdown after all the projects are finished encoding.
And also a startup log to show that everything went successful the next time we boot up.
MediaEncoder CC - JPEG2000 MXF and MOV Settings Clarification Please
My goal is to transcode an Uncompressed 8-bit YCrCb QT (525i29.97) LOSSLESSLY, to JPEG 200 MXF OP1a and/or JPEG 2000 QuickTime, but there are a few specs about these codecs that I cannot find information on.
For JPEG 2000 MXF OP1a:
1. What do "Broadcast Profile" and "Tiling" settings do? Default profile is Level 5 and Tiling default is "Single". If settings are left on default, will this still produce a lossless transcode?
2. Is there any way to maintain field order of an interlaced source on this codec? (Codec automatically selects progressive output even though it shows my source is interlaced, and the option to change this setting is grayed out.)
3. Are there any settings that specifically ensure output will be lossless?
For QuickTime JPEG 2000:
1. If Quality setting is set to 100, does that necessarily mean output will be lossless?
Thanks!
Can't publish videos to youtube via media encoder. Error 403 quotaExceeded
Getting this message/ error while trying to upload to youtube after encoding like I normally do. I'm getting it every time, and I have searched everywhere for a solution, and I have come up with nothing. Nothing has changed on my end, and everything appears to be up to date. Would absolutely love a timely response, and something other than a game of 20 questions. This is the error log, nothing has changed on my end, and the internet is saying it's an API issue, but absolutely nothing regarding Adobe specifically is coming up.
I repeat. Creative cloud AND apps are up to date. This started happening randomly, first error happened on 08/08/2016 07:35:08 PM. (I was sick and didn't bother trying to upload until now which explains the gap in time). I have tried everything from a 15 second video, to a 40 minute video, logging out and back in multiple times, etc etc. The usual trouble shooting.
I trust the support team will deal with this in a timely manner, as the publish feature is kind of one of the major selling points of Premiere Pro.
I will NOT answer a series of 20 questions, or play forum tag for a week. I just want a swift solution to this error, or I will simply consider dropping the products due to the mass of errors I have had to deal with via the direct publishing feature.

DNxHD Preset Window Error on Mac and PC
Cross Platform Watch Folders in AME
Hello all,
I'm attempting to set up a dedicated export machine in my company's new office. This machine is an HP Z620 (running Windows 10) and will rely on AME's watch folders in order to pull projects export. The files being pulled exist on a network server with there being watch folders for each editor. The editors will put their completed projects in their respective watch folders, which would then allow for AME to pull and export out their projects.
Now, the issue I'm running into with this is the fact that the company runs off of Macs (currently iMacs, not my personal choice, but our CEOs) for editing, thus making the file path to the project and every other associated file completely different than what it would be on Windows. Because of this, early tests of this system yielded the red "Media Offline" screen during the watch folder's export, obviously because of the varying file paths.
My question then is how could this issue be remedied or is there a workaround we could use to get this system to work? We would prefer not to buy a new Mac based machine as that would get extremely expensive and the Z620 is already in our possession. In addition, a Hackintosh setup is nearly impossible with the Z620's hardware not being compatible. I've thought of the potential of scripts to adjust file paths, but Premiere's .prproj extension seems to just be binary code, making it nearly impossible (with my limited knowledge) to alter.
Are there any scripts or pieces of software in existence that would remedy this situation? Thank you in advance; I hope I've explained this in a way that makes sense.
Error Compiling movie. Render Error. Error code: -161053867
I've been encountering the following error the last few times I've tried outputting video. It is causing a significant setback for my work. Any help is appreciated.
So far, this is what I've tried to do to troubleshoot:
- Delete possibly damaged frames in the film in Premiere
- Work on different computers
- Film on different SD cards
- Film on different card slots in camera
- Export from shortened paths and simplified file names
- Export different file formats
- Ensure that Premiere is using the NVIDIA Quadro instead of the Integrated card
My current machine is a Dell Precision M4800, i7 with NVIDIA Quadro M2100. It's running Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1. The last time the error occurred I sent the laptop to our IT department. They did a thorough hardware test, and also re-imaged the drive, so this is basically a new (tho' older) machine.
Rendered Audio Repeat Glitch
We are encountering a glitch in our media output after our recent Premiere Pro CC 2015 Update (installed 12/16/15). The exported media will fill empty audio portions with a repetition of the last 1.5 seconds of audio until a new audio clip in the timeline plays. I am also experiencing the output media with an arbitrary amount of blank footage added at the end. I've checked the timeline to make sure there was not any "straggler" clips hiding at the end. One 10 minute video exported as an hour and a half. We are exporting both through Media Encoder and Premiere.
I had exported a 20 minute movie before installing the update on my system into several formats without issue (H.264 MP4, MPEG2 Blu-ray). My co-worker had already installed the update and was encountering these issues exporting the same file. We didn't realize that the update could be the cause. So I installed the update afterward and am now noticing the same issues when I export files. We are both using new 2015 Macs, Yosemite and El Capitan.
Assuming this is a result of the Update, I'm wondering if anyone else is encountering this issue. Otherwise, I suppose this is more of a report than a question, unless you have a solution for me. Our temp solution is to fill the "dead" audio space in the timeline with low audio slugs.
Adobe Media Encoder is not installed, but it is
So I just bought Creative Cloud and have just started to try to figure out how to use After Effects today.
I have imported a movie and added some text animations, and I am trying to export the video to the Media Encoder but I keep getting the following error.
AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLInkServer: Adobe Media Encoder is not installed. Please download and install it to use this feature. Go to https://creative.adobe.apps . ( 5027 :: 12 )
After I click "OK" I get the next message:
AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLinkServer: Failed to connect to Adobe Media Encoder. ( 5027 :: 12 )
So I really don't know what do because I have just started using After Effects but I would like some input on how to fix it because I would be able to like to export a video at some point.
The Render Engine is installed but whenever I try to open it nothing happens but After Effects opens again. At one point I had four After Effects open at once and didn't realize it.
If it matters, I did install the CUDA plugin.
So if anyone could give me some information or support on this matter I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.
Media Encoder crashes computer
Hi,
Every time I try to use Media Encoder for exporting longer sequences my computer crashes. I did a full install of my operating system and Adobe products but that did not fix my problems. I create a program that is 30 minutes in length. The only remedy is to export the sequence in 3 separate 10 minute chunks and then re-export the entire 30 minute program. I have a second computer that is having the same problem. I tried exporting directly from Premiere Pro and sending the file to Media Encoder to export.
What needs to be done for the exporting to not crash the computer?
Before this 2017 update I had problems of Premiere Pro crashing during rendering of the 30 minute sequence. I also had export problems of random audio glitches in the output that were not in the timeline. It was ghost audio of extra parts of the video in random places. There seems to be a lot of exporting issues in the past months.
Thanks,
Jason

Exporting to PhotoJpeg on Windows 10
Hi there,
I've just moved over from Mac to PC and I'm just getting to grips with what I can and can't export from Encoder. Understand ProRes isn't really an option, is this the same for PhotoJpeg? is this a result of the whole QuickTime security issue? Seems Mpeg streamclip wants you to install Quicktime, is anyone still using Quicktime but with only a few 'safe' features enabled?
Thanks
Chris
Media encoder Encodes old Premiere Pro Edit
Sometimes when I export from Premiere and "Queue" to Media encoder, AME will encode a previous version of my edit instead of my updated current edit.
I assume premiere is packaging up a copy of the premiere file and sending it to a temporary location for Media encoder to then read that premiere file, so is AME perhaps reading an old temp Premiere file? Anyone know where these are stored maybe I should clean out that temp location before every export to AME.
